About Us
MRIU - Manav Rachna International University is an embodiment of Manav Rachna Vidyanatariksha which signifies the creation of human beings or individuals with attention to all components of holistic growth. The concept of 'Manav' is accorded the fundamental status. With special emphasis on development of healthy emotional quotient. "Vidyanatariksha" is a conjugation of the words 'vidya' and 'antariksha'. Vidya is knowledge, information, the basis of creativity and innovation. It is the foundation of technology and envisages the future. Antrikhsha means 'the sky', the space in which we belong or exist. It can be broken into 'Antar' and 'Iksha' which means inner desire. Hence in combination the core promise of Manav Rachna is to create such human beings who have inner desire to gain knowledge.
